Celebrating Indonesian specialty coffee
Our first coffee tasting event

Last Friday, we had the privilege of doing a coffee-tasting and presentation at an event hosted by Bija Coffee Shop in London’s St James Market Square. The event was organised for the Diplomatic Spouse Club London (DSCL) and brought together an incredible audience representing 23 nationalities.
This was a unique opportunity to share not only the exceptional flavours of our Indonesian specialty coffee but also the inspiring origin stories behind them. We showcased how our partner projects are creating meaningful change through ecological stewardship, championing communities, and agroforestry innovation.
The event fostered engaging conversations around coffee, sustainability, and cultural connection — a testament to the power of collaboration.
Featured coffees included:
• ALKO – Kerinci Coffee
• Little Fireface Project – Wildlife Friendly® Cisurupan Coffee
• SwaraOwa – Wildlife Friendly® Central Java Coffee
We also introduced a very special arenga forest sugar from the Masarang Foundation, available for the first time in the UK.
A heartfelt thank you to Bija Coffee Shop for hosting and sharing our vision, and to the Diplomatic Spouse Club London for their enthusiasm and participation. Together, we are proud to support Indonesian coffee farmers and bring their remarkable stories and craftsmanship to a global stage.
